  • In conjunction with the 2024 National Cocker Spaniel Specialty Show there will be a judges’ education seminar. The seminar will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024. The cost is $25.00 which includes a show catalog and a copy of both the PowerPoint presentation and the illustrated standard. In order to have enough of these materials for all attendees, advanced reservations are required. For questions, contact contact Barbara Shaw - bshaw322@gmail.com. Ring side mentoring will also be available throughout the show.
  • 2024 ASC "A Night in Aspen" Owner-Handled Top 20 Gala Tickets - Individual Tickets are $60 each or $480 for a table of 8. Individual ticket includes dinner and a catalog (including People's Choice Award ballots).  Cash bar.  Cocktail attire - IN WHITE - is requested. Black tie welcomed. Entry for finalists are $75 each (includes dinner, rosette and catalog). For those finalists not attending, rosette & catalog together can be purchased for $45 and single catalogs can be purchased for $15 (onsite pickup) or $20 mailed.

    With today’s rising travel costs and increased airline fees, it is often difficult to travel with all the items needed to exhibit a Cocker Spaniel.  Let us help you!  Now you can just “Show & Go!”  You’ll arrive at the Willamette Event Center and find all the tack room equipment you need for a show weekend ALREADY IN YOUR SET-UP, and when you’re done, you just go – we’ll break it all down!

    All packages contain:

    • 1 3x3 Ex-pen (with plastic and shavings and water bucket)
    • 1 Grooming table with arm/clamp & noose
    • 1 Poop-water bucket and brush with disinfectant
    • 1 Extension cord

  • Have you ever wondered if your cocker has natural field abilities? Do you know if your dog is birdy? This is your chance to see your cocker in action. Please join us in Colorado Springs, CO where your cocker can be evaluated to see his/her natural field instincts. The instinct test will be held at the Norris Penrose Center, exact location TBA.   • RV Overnight Parking

    ASC RV Overnight Parking Reservation – July 2024 Reserved RV Overnight Parking Space is available at the Norris-Penrose Event Center.  RV Sites include Electric and Water.  SEWER CONNECTIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT INDIVIDUAL RV SITES.   A dump station is available at the facility at no cost.  We will be coordinating with TCS Septic Plumbing for a “Honey Wagon” to provide service for RVs at your assigned site at your cost. Overnight RV parking Area will be available beginning on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.  All RVs must be removed by Monday, July 29, 2024 at 9:00 am. THERE ARE 3 RV LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM: Premium Lot with 12-15 RV spots (depending on size of rig) with electrical/water hookups closest to the event center - $55/Night Standard Lot with electrical/water hookups, couple hundred feet from the event center with parking for any size rig - $45/Night Basic Lot for Dry Camping just outside the rear event center doors. No electrical or water available - $35/Night YOU CAN PAY ONLINE HERE BUT YOU STILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE RV RESERVATION FORM AND SEND IT TO TONY. (We’ll do our best to honor your preference, but we reserve the right to move you to a different lot based on availability) NOTE: Due to space constraints, no tow vehicles are allowed in the Premium Lot. Tow vehicles are allowed in the other two lots but must fit within the constraints of your RV site. Please submit your reservation by July 1, 2024.  The Events Center needs a list of campers prior to the start of the event. Please make checks payable to American Spaniel Club. Also payable online in ASC Shop. Rental RVs:  RVs may be available for rent for use at the Norris-Penrose Events Center.  Typically, the rental would include drop off at the event center and return after the event, however this service needs to be negotiated for each individual rental.  These RV rental sites indicate they have pet-friendly RVs available for rent with delivery available to the Norris-Penrose Event Center (1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80905). Other rental options may be available. Keep in mind that RV rental does not include ASC overnight parking reservation.  An overnight parking reservation at the Norris-Penrose Event Center is required in addition to any rental fees.   • Overnight Crating with Grooming Space & Electricity Reservations 10 X 15 spaces @ $75.00 per space in the Norris Penrose Event Center. Each space includes one electrical outlet. Additional outlets are $25/each. Outlets will be monitored. $50 late fee for reservations received/postmarked after the July 10, 2024 deadline. Exhibitors wishing to be next to each other MUST mail reservations and payment together in SAME envelope. • All ex-pens must have plastic and shavings, which will be provided by ASC. All ex-pens must be kept clean. • Trash pickup will be approximately every 2 hours: see schedule at show. • Name and contact information must be on crates in case of emergency. • Designated day crating for exhibitors is at no cost but does not include electricity. If electricity is needed, you may purchase a grooming space by filling out the Grooming Reservation Form.
