Ch. Pett’s Southwest Breeze CD, MH, WDX , (RUBY) PERPETUAL MEMORIAL AWARD

The Ruby Perpetual Memorial Award was established by ASC, together with the Friends of Ruby, to honor the achievements of CH. Pett’s Southwest Breeze, SH, MH, CD, WDX, the first Cocker Spaniel ever to attain this group of titles. The Ruby Memorial Award recognizes the comprehensive achievement of any cocker spaniel who earns all titles carried by Ruby.

The Award reflects a high level of performance and breed type as defined in the breed standard and tested in competition and trials.

The Ruby Award is given when an ASC member in good standing submits the following documentation to the ASC Secretary.

• Copy of the dog’s AKC Registration certificate,
• Copy of the AKC Conformation title certificate,
• Copy of the AKC Obedience title certificate,
• Copy of the AKC Master Hunter certificate, and a
• Copy of the AKC Working Dog Excellence title certificate.

The cocker spaniel being considered for the Award, must be owned by a member(s) of ASC while the titles were achieved.

The Ruby Perpetual Memorial Award is a framed Michael Allen print of CH. Pett’s Southwest Breeze, SH, MH, CD, WDX. with an engraved nameplate. It is presented during the January ASC Flushing Spaniel Show in recognition of the honor and prestige it carries.
