One of the privileges of American Spaniel Club membership is the ability to Futurity nominate bitches and enter enrolled puppies from nominated litters at the National Specialty and Flushing Spaniel Show. Through the years, breeders who are ASC members have proudly made nominations in the belief the puppies will live up to the concept that well-bred dogs which exemplify the standard are the foundation of our breed for years to come.
Because the American Spaniel Club is dedicated to the future of our breed and in supporting our member breeders, the Board of Directors has voted to reward the winners of the ASC Cocker Spaniel Futurity with a cash award in addition to the placement checks currently offered.
Beginning with the July 2023 National, the ASC Board voted to award the winner of Best in Futurity (BIF) $1000 and will award $500 to the winner of Best of Opposite (BOS) to BIF. These awards will be presented to the BREEDER(S) of the puppies awarded BIF and BOS to BIF. The same awards will also be presented at the January Flushing Spaniel Show.

Candid Photography
ASC prohibits the use of video recording and or digital streaming devices for commercial purposes at any time at all ASC events. ASC also prohibits photography at ASC events for commercial purposes without prior written consent of the Show Chairperson and the payment in U.S. funds of a $100 candid photography licensing fee.
Commercial purposes are defined as the intent to offer photos for sale or barter, in whole or in part, for use now or in the future, or for use in any other commercial applications,. Any entity or individual interested in taking candid photographs at ASC, please send a written request to Marlene Ness (nesmar@live.ca)
and submit your payment via the ASC Store.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Trick Dog Evaluations
Evaluations will start on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and last entry taken at 3:00 p.m.

CGC/CGCA: $20.00 per dog
TRICK DOG : $20.00 per dog all levels
CGC and Trick Dog with same dog: $30.00

Catalog Ads
Catalog Ads: All photographs must be identified with name of dog and owner name and address on back. Black and White or Color glossy preferred for best results. Any other cannot be guaranteed.
The Ad deadline is December 6, 2025 and $10 late fee will be charged for copy received between December 7 – December 13, 2025.
Late fee of $10 imposed at checkout for ads arriving between December 7 and December 13, 2025.

This year, ASC has partnered with Visit Knoxville to provide exhibitors and attendees of the Flushing Spaniel Show expanded hotel options.

Reservations must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2025. All reservations postmarked after the closing date will be subject to a $125 late fee. No exceptions. This late fee will be charged at checkout.
Judges Education
Parade of Veteran Title Holders
FEE: $20.00 ALL DOGS, 7 years or older, who are AKC Champions, or have earned Obedience, Agility, Tracking, or Hunting, WD, WDX or other AKC Titles are eligible for this noncompetitive title parade. A dog entered in this Parade of Titleholders may NOT enter regular breed classes at this show. Everyone is encouraged to come to the Parade prepared to “showcase” their dog’s area of excellence (for instance, bring an obedience dumbbell, tracking harness, bumper or bird wing). A 50 word or less description of the dogs career is to be provided no less than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled class. ASC reserves the right to edit the provided copy. A rosette will be presented to each entrant with name imprinted on it.

Reserved Seating
Reserve your seats by completing the Reserved Seating Form or through the ASC Store.
Seating will be assigned by postmark date. Only envelopes postmarked on or after December 9, 2025 will be accepted. No Express, Overnight, or Priority Mail Accepted. There is a limit of four (4) seats per form.
Seat Prices
$50.00- front row seating (while they last)
$35.00- all other seats
$40.00- day of show price
All seats are for the entire weekend and are assigned to the ring in which your primary breed is to be shown. Breeds will be judged in the same ring each day except for Best of Breed/Variety and Best In Show. All sold seating will be moved the to the appropriate ring.
There will be no FREE chairs at the show.

Videographer

The professional video services and live streaming at this show are governed by an exclusive video contract with the American Spaniel Club. No other commercial video recording, video recording from a tripod, monopod or other supported camera/device, or any video recording or streaming of large parts or whole classes shall be permitted. The contract terms permit individuals to record small bits of video of their own dogs only, and using handheld devices only (e.g. phone, tablet or small camcorder). Individuals may post recorded videos of their own dogs to social media (e.g., Facebook, YouTube). However, during show hours LIVE broadcast streaming to social media (e.g., Facebook Live) is not permitted. Submission of an entry form and/or physical presence on the show grounds shall constitute both implied and real consent for both the handler and the dog to be professionally video recorded and streamed live only by the professional video services as contracted by the Club for this show.
