ASC Member Clubs Tack Box
Cocker Spaniel Specialty Clubs today are faced with many challenges that have resulted in several clubs either folding or being forced to abandon their ability to host shows and address the local needs of the cocker spaniel fancy. The American Spaniel Club recognizes these challenges and has empowered a Member Clubs Committee to help local clubs address the issues inhibiting their growth.
The ASC Member Club “Tack Box” has been designed and is being developed to provide cocker spaniel specialty clubs with best practices, practical examples, and ideas for addressing common club challenges in several key areas including membership, AKC compliance, fundraising, and hosting successful shows.
This “Tack Box” is still under construction so check back often for new and updated information.
The Tack Box is designed such that each drawer represents a key area of club operations. The links on the left highlighted in green have content. Just click one of the links to see what tools are available to help your club in your areas of challenge or to generate new ideas.
The ASC Member Clubs Committee sincerely hopes that you find the information contained in this Tack Box helpful. If you have ideas or best practices your club would like to share, please do not hesitate to reach out to an ASC Member Club Committee member. If you have questions, also feel free to contact the Committee Chair, Genea Jones, Ashwoodcockers@gmail.com.
